Why a campaigning party publishes all this
Political parties run on data — who we've spoken to, who wants a leaflet, who never wants to hear from us again. That is exactly why we publish this hub. Digital campaigning done carelessly erodes the trust it depends on; done openly, it earns it. So we put the whole estate on the record: what each application holds, the legal basis for holding it, and a working set of buttons for you to do something about it.
None of this is a favour. Most of it is the law — UK GDPR, PECR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. The part that isn't law is conviction: showing our workings is how a democratic party should behave, and it makes our campaigning better too. Here's how the protection actually works.
